Listening to a tube amp through a dynamic mic placed in front of the speaker results in a two-dimensional experience which doesn’t allow you to appreciate its quality. This is why we shot these demos using binaural recording, a 3D recording technique which conveys a spherical, 360° feeling as if you were actually sitting in front of the amp.
