A dedicated Metal Amp from Mezzabarba Custom Amplification, the Apocalypse is the result of a 20 year “no compromise” journey. What this approach leads to is a ferocious amp that can go from sparkly clean to thermonuclear meltdown with a click of the footswitch. And in between there is a continuum of guitar tones that will make you sound great at any volume, and at every gain stage.
4 Different Modes on 2 separate Channels
CHANNEL 1
- Mode 1 This channel is all about tonal definition and produces a transparent, glassy and solid clean tone, with harmonic overtones to die for.
- Mode 2 The most explosive modified British sound that you can play. This Mode can range from a crunchy distortion until a brutal hot-rodded tone.
CHANNEL 2
- Mode 3 A modern high gain channel with enormous headroom: big, tight and defined, perfect for rhythm and solo parts. Very reactive to the pick, with a solid and fully controlled response to low frequencies.
- Mode 4
What a high gain metal tone has to be today: an impressive distortion, with the richest harmonics, that maintains immense body and definition with a knockout punch. It delivers a ferocious and sustained sound.
The Apocalypse uses 6L6 tubes to deliver a raw, fiery tone with lots of bite, but with the signature Mezzabarba fullness and power. The amp results in a more mid-focused and aggressive tone, perfect for Rock, Hard Rock and Metal.
